Founded in 1965, The General Stanton Inn Flea Market in Charlestown RI, is the state’s oldest, continually-running Flea Market. It is an outdoor, weekend market, which runs from the last Sunday in April, through Columbus Day, on the seven acre, tree-shaded grounds of the historic General Stanton Inn, est. 1667. General Stanton Inn Flea Market features antiques, vintage items, art, hand-made crafts–esp. jewelry–collectibles, new merchandise, Farmers’ Market goods, and small batch edibles. Food and beverage truck vendors are welcome all season long. Non-profit organizations are invited to set up booths for free . Located in the ocean-side town of Charlestown, this Flea Market is especially treasured for its nautical antiques.
